A Texas border county judge said Thursday on CNN that President Joe Biden is not addressing the border crisis amid an overflow of migrants.

Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez first explained that border patrol agents have expressed concern that when Title 42, which is expected to end in coming days, is rescinded, “the influx will be overwhelming and turn a manageable situation to an unmanageable situation.”

Cortez said some of the migrants could be sick or criminals, before adding the Biden administration and Congress need to work on fixing the immigration system to make it easier for migrants to legally come over. “We have outdated laws that Congress needs to look into and our president needs to provide leadership.”

“We have a leak, we need a plumber to come and stop the leak, and instead, what we’re doing is we’re sending us more buckets to hold the water. That is not the solution,” Cortez added. “We have a mixed bag of people coming in, some we want and some we don’t want.”

Cortez then said he wants Biden to come “see it for himself and quit trying to solve the enforcement problem. If someone thinks we can solve it with enforcement only, then I’ve got a bridge in New York I want to sell them.”

A caravan of more than 1,000 migrants illegally crossed into El Paso, Texas on Sunday with U.S. Customs and Border protection sources telling Fox News on Monday that the El Paso sector has seen 2,397 migrant encounters within a 24-hour period. Agents from other field offices have reportedly been called in to assist the overflow of migrants.
