U.S. skiers are wearing climate change-themed race suits at Worlds, according to the Associated Press.
The team’s blue-and-white jumpsuits depict an image of ice chunks floating in the ocean. The suit was sponsored by a nonprofit organization called “Protect Our Winters.”
I don’t like when people virtue signal to me in sports. When a football post says “end racism,” you know what that football post isn’t going to do? End racism. Do you know what this stupid uniform isn’t going to do? End climate change.
Just shut up and compete in your sport. Donate your money to charity and be a good person without making everything a virtue signal competition.
