Jen Psaki, the former White House press secretary turned MSNBC host, insinuated that her work for a Democratic president and a legacy media outlet is similar.
Psaki said during a media summit hosted by a left-wing news outlet that journalism is “providing information to the public, helping make things clearer, and explaining things.” She then claimed she was practicing journalism from the White House press podium.
While that’s one of the more out-of-touch comments she’s made, she’s technically wrong. Journalism in modern-day America isn’t reporting the facts, it’s just spinning propaganda for Democrats.
We need more differences between the media and political operatives nowadays.
