One of the biggest news outlets in the UK fired commentator Laurence Fox just days after he made comments about a left-wing journalist who seemingly made light of male suicide rates. Days later, Fox was arrested in his home.

Here’s the backstory: reporter Ava Evans said on BBC that calls for a minister for men’s mental health “feed into the culture war.”

Fox then went on GBNews and made crass remarks saying that her comments were disgusting and that he’d never “shag” a woman like her. I think these comments were made out of pure laziness. Fox likely didn’t prepare for his news segment and his best weapon was humor, so he called her ugly.

Now we’re finding out that Fox was arrested, maybe not directly for his speech, but it’s still unclear.

Never take free speech for granted!
