The mother of famous rapper YG’s child was reportedly involved in a fatal collision in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Catelyn Sparks, the mother of YG’s two children, was involved in a car crash that resulted in the death of an 89-year-old woman, TMZ reported, citing unnamed law enforcement sources. They indicated Sparks was allegedly behind the wheel of her 2023 Tesla when the other woman made a U-turn in front of her. The elderly woman was pronounced dead at the scene, according to TMZ.

Officials said the other woman was driving a 1985 Cadillac at the time of the collision, according to the outlet. It is not clear why she allegedly turned in front of Sparks’ car.

Sparks’ car slammed into the driver’s side door of the other vehicle, TMZ reported. First responders attended the scene, and Sparks was brought to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

Officials confirmed to TMZ that Sparks did not commit a crime and that an accident caused the crash. Drugs and alcohol were not factors in the collision, the outlet reported.
