A very bored (and fluffy) polar bear was caught destroying public property in early October, footage shared online Wednesday shows.

The polar bear was messing with traffic poles in Manitoba, Canada, while waiting for the Hudson Bay to freeze over, AccuWeather reported. The big fluffster can be seen acting no different than most domestic cat species, pawing at the big white pole, seemingly trying to pull it over.

It’s hard to tell exactly, but it looks like the polar bear was enjoying her playtime with the random piece of plastic. But she stopped her antics when a bright light hit her from an oncoming vehicle, catching her in the act of destroying public property. (RELATED: Call Al Gore! The bear immediately stopped messing with the pole, though it seems like she wanted to keep playing with it. And she probably did, once the videographer moved along.

Manitoba’s polar bear population only comes onto solid ground in July, when the Hudson Bay ice breaks up for the summer, according to the local area government. These 10-foot-tall land monsters can weigh up to 1,300 pounds, so it’s easier to just let them destroy public property rather than try and stop them. In the Churchill area where the video was taken, a Polar Bear Alert Program was set up to protect the bears and the people from each other. Usually, bears who venture too close to town in October are chased out of there by Manitoba Conservation staff. But sometimes they sneak in, do a lil crime and then get lost again.
