Billionaire Elon Musk visited Israel on Monday and toured border areas affected by Hamas’ Oct. 7 rampage alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Musk visited Kibbutz Kfar Aza with Netanyahu to survey the damage done to the community, hear from local leaders and to view a presentation about the terror attack, the Jerusalem Post reported.

In a Twitter live chat with the Israeli Prime Minister, Musk recounted that “it was jarring to see the scene of the massacre — or one of the scenes of the massacres — as well as to see the short film afterwards that showed more of innocent people getting killed.” Musk said he was especially struck by how much “joy” the Hamas terrorists took in murdering Israelis.

Musk contrasted this behavior to Israel’s operation in Gaza, crediting the Israeli military for not engaging in the same indiscriminate killing in Gaza. Israel, he said, feels “no joy” when innocent Gazans are killed.
The trip to Israel also led to an agreement between Musk and the Israeli government.
“Elon Musk, I congratulate you for reaching a principle understanding with the Ministry of Communications under my leadership. As a result of this significant agreement, Starlink satellite units can only be operated in Israel with the approval of the Israeli Ministry of Communications, including the Gaza Strip,” Israel’s Minister of Communications Shlomo Karhi tweeted.
