Borko Stefanovic is leader of Levica Srbije – “the Serbian Left” – a new, grassroots political movement in the Republic of Serbia. The party was founded to challenge establishment parties of both left and right that have consistently failed to deliver social progress, economic reform and greater accountability. http://levicasrbije.rs/ <br /> <br /> Before founding Levica Srbije, Stefanovic was Vice President of the Democratic Party and a member of parliament for that party. He has also served as Chief of Staff at the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and political affairs director to the Foreign Minister. <br /> <br /> Before this he served as the deputy Ambassador of Serbia to the United States where he was instrumental in laying the foundations for the Serbian Caucus in Congress. He has also served as Serbia’s representative to the European Union-led Belgrade-Pristina negotiations.
