Harry C. Alford, president and CEO of the National Black Chamber of Commerce, is a leading national champion of African American business empowerment and helps shape important economic discussions at the highest levels of government and corporate America. Mr. Alford has implemented programs and opened doors leading to billions of dollars in new business for Black-owned firms nationwide, while also forging international business opportunities for African Americans and emerging entrepreneurs in Africa, the Caribbean, South America and the rest of the Black Diaspora. He is also an award-winning columnist for the National Newspaper Publishers Association and serves on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
