Lewis Uhler is President of the National Tax Limitation Committee, headquartered in the Greater Sacramento Area, California (for more information, visit limittaxes.org). Uhler was one of the architects of S.J. Res. 58 -- a tax limitation/balanced budget amendment -- which was approved by the U.S. Senate in 1982. He is co-author of the 2010 book, “Red State Uprising: How to Take Back America,” with Erick Erickson, and author of the 1989 book, “Setting Limits: Constitutional Control of Government,” with foreword by Milton Friedman.
