Patrick Hynes is the President of Hynes Communications, a premier national social media communications agency with offices in Washington, DC and Portsmouth, NH. Hynes served as the online outreach consultant for Sen. John McCain’s 2008 campaign for president, and currently advises Gov. Tim Pawlenty’s Freedom First PAC on online communications and strategy. He also advises a range of public affairs clients on social media. <br /> <br /> As a recognized leader in online communications, Patrick has addressed Harvard Business School, the Museum of Television and Radio, the Robert J. Dole Institute of American Politics at the University of Kansas and the Public Affairs Council on the power of social media as a communications vehicle.<br /> <br /> Patrick is the author of the book In Defense of the Religious Right (Nelson Current).
