Samuel Gregg is research director at the Acton Institute, and has written and spoken extensively on questions of political economy, ethics in finance, and natural law theory. The author of more than 10 books, such as On Ordered Liberty (2003), The Commercial Society (2007), Wilhelm Röpke’s Political Economy (2010), and Becoming Europe: Economic Decline, Culture, and How America Can Avoid A European Future (2013), Gregg has received several prizes for his work on the intersection of culture and political economy. He obtained his doctorate in moral philosophy and political economy from the University of Oxford.
