Photos emerged today highlighting how teen sensation Justin Bieber celebrated his 16th birthday — by getting inked.
The grainy shots show the tattooist touching the minor on his hip in order to prep him for the procedure. Beiber apparently “sucked it up” during the minutes-long process, leaving him with a small seagull.
Although the Canadian heartthrob is under required age of consent to get a tattoo, his father was on location to approve of the minor’s new marking.
Today, Bieber was nominated for a Black Entertainment Television award in the best new artist category.
