Russell Simmons: Student of History

Font Size:

“If you’re blaming Muslims for the attack on 9/11, then you need to change your mind. Did we blame Christians at the first World Trade attack?”

Well, I sure didn’t, even though I’m pretty sure the culprits behind the ’93 attack (Ramzi Yousef, Mahmud Abouhalima, Mohammad Salameh, Nidal A. Ayyad, Abdul Rahman Yasin, Ahmad Ajaj, Eyad Ismoil, and of course Khalid Sheikh Mohammed) were Episcopalian. Good point, Professor Simmons!

Hat tip: Iowahawk. I take full credit for getting him hooked on Twitter, by the way.

P.S. If you want some more deep thoughts from Prof. Simmons, he’s on HuffPo. Where else?

P.P.S. Allahpundit: “The debate’s raging on Twitter: Does this guy actually think the first World Trade Center bombing was the work of Christian fundamentalists? Or did he mean to say Oklahoma City, per the false leftist canard post-9/11 that McVeigh was some sort of Christian fanatic rather than an anti-government fanatic?”

P.P.P.S. Scenes we’d like to see:

“Was it over when the Christians bombed the World Trade Center?”
“Christians?”
“Forget it, he’s rolling…”
