Abraham Lincoln dollar introduced by US Mint

The latest Presidential One Dollar Coin featuring Abraham Lincoln was officially introduced by Ed Moy, director of the US Mint, on the 19th of November 2010 at the Lincoln Cottage, the summer residence of the 16th President. The date is 147 years after the Gettysburg Address.

Present in the ceremony was the President Lincoln Cottage director Erin Carlson Mast.

The Abraham Lincoln Presidential $1 Coin is a part of the program under the 2005 Presidential $1 Coin Act or Public Law 109-145 which orders the annual release of four one dollar coins by the US Mint.
