The trailer for The Hangover Part II, which premieres this summer, has been removed from theaters due to crass content, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Entertainment Weekly reported Wednesday that Warner Bros pulled the trailer, stating, “In our haste to meet the placement schedule for this trailer, we failed to properly vet the final version with the MPAA. We acted immediately to correct the mistake and removed the trailer from screens.”

The trailer, which aired before screenings of the PG-13 Source Code, includes a joke about a monkey performing a simulated sex act and uses the slur “whore.” The humor might have been too much or too awkward for some audiences, and the trailer itself was approved to run only before R-rated flicks. A source familiar with the situation told the LA Times that The Hangover Part II preview shouldn’t have been shown before Source Code.
