And now, a photo of MY most famous appendage

Let’s keep in mind what happened here. I was pranked, I was hacked, I was punked, whatever it is. Someone sent out a picture, probably Andrew Breitbart because you know how he operates, and I’m not going to let it distract me from the job that I’m…

Oh, who am I kidding? To be clear, this picture is of me, and I’m sending it.

It might not be much, but it’s mine.

How’s my knee doing, you ask? Well, that’s mighty kind of you. I’m able to walk without a cane now. Still hurts, but a little less week by week. I still can’t go up and down stairs without a lot of effort, but I’m trying to make that effort. I’m going to physical therapy every week, and my therapist is very happy with my progress. My knee isn’t back to 100%, and it might not ever get better than 95% or so, but it’s getting there.

It’s not all good news, though. I can’t seem to cross a street in DC — inside the crosswalk, with the Walk light — without somebody trying to pull into the intersection illegally. This is not something I enjoy, as you can imagine if you know my story. I recently learned the term for my state of mind every time I go outside: hypervigilance. It’s not fun.

Okay, that’s all. Thank you for reading about my healing-up knee and giving me the opportunity to make a few more Weiner references before the weekend.
