It’s been a zombie-filled week for 22-year-old starlet Emma Stone. Variety recently reported that Stone, the star of 2009’s hit blockbuster “Zombieland,” will once again battle the undead in the upcoming film, “Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies.”

The 2013 flick is an adaptation of the massively popular book Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, a 2009 spinoff of the classic Jane Austen novel, and Stone beat out A-list stars including Scarlett Johansson for the lead role of Elizabeth Bennet.

The role is the latest in a string of leading parts the rising starlet has landed. Next month, Stone, who made her debut in 2007’s “Superbad” and starred in films such as “Easy A,” will star alongside Steve Carrell and Julianne Moore in the romantic comedy “Crazy, Stupid, Love.”

Stone also recently began filming the highly-anticipated fourth installment of the “Spiderman” franchise, titled “The Amazing Spiderman,” where she plays Peter Parker’s latest love interest, Gwen Stacy.

In addition to the onscreen success, Stone’s personal life has become more high-profile, as she’s rumored to be dating co-star and Andrew Garfield. Garfield, who plays Peter Parker in the film, rose to fame after his critically acclaimed performance in “The Social Network.”

Garfield certainly seemed smitten with his stunning co-star in an interview with E! News last week, noting, “I met her first at the screen test and I was like, ‘Oh, man, if I have to spend six years of my life talking about one thing over and over again to camera crews and stuff, I hope it’s with this person.’” (Emma Stone stars in civil rights film)

“She’s incredibly sweet, funny, down to earth, genuine, doesn’t take herself seriously in any way shape or form,” he added.

Between her catapulting career and her real-life leading man, Stone is well on her way to becoming one of Hollywood’s newest ‘It’ girls.
