Now that Mitt Romney is (basically) the official Republican party nominee for president, it’s serious face-off time between the two potential first ladies and their fashion choices.
On June 15, both current first lady Michelle Obama and Ann Romney were photographed on the tarmac after deplaning.
Here, Michelle Obama deplanes from Air Force One to attend the wedding of Valerie Jarrett’s daughter at Chicago O’Hare International Airport. Michelle is chic in a black and white ensemble, topping off her Boy. by Band of Outsider’s floral skirt with her favorite Azzedine Alaia belt.
The same day, Ann Romney joins her husband as they walk across the tarmac at Wilkes-barre Airport in Scranton, Penn., also in a flowery ensemble. Ann accessorized with summery, kitten-heeled sandals, and with her husband on her right arm.
While both ladies donned a floral motif for their flights, it’s Ann’s summery pink palette that wins this round.
