Of course, a week can’t go by without some Hillary talk on the Sunday shows.
This week, ABC’s “This Week” devoted all of twenty seconds to the birth of Charlotte Clinton Mevinsky, the first child and grandchild to Chelsea and Hillary Clinton, respectively.
“We can’t leave without mentioning that there’s a new Clinton. Hillary Clinton is now a grandmother,” said guest host Jon Karl, who noted the Clinton baby “has elephants in her nursery.”
“I’m waiting for the email, the DNC appeal under Charlotte’s signature. I think it’s coming in the next 48 hours,” said Yahoo News’ Matt Bai.
And naturally Karl added the final bit as the roundtable concluded:
“She’ll be eligible to run [for president] in 2052.”
