Former Virginia Sen. Jim Webb really, really doesn’t want to talk about Hillary Clinton. That much is evident.
When pressed by “Meet The Press” moderator Chuck Todd about whether or not the former Secretary of State and First Lady is qualified to be president, Webb offered an unequivocal dodge.
Todd asked the possible 2016 candidate multiple times whether Clinton was qualified, with Webb declining to offer any answers.
When pressed initially by Todd, Webb continued talking about what he had done in the U.S. Senate leading the NBC host to offer a conclusion.
“You don’t want to talk about Hillary Clinton, do you?” Todd asked as Webb donned an ear to ear grin. “Is that fair to say? You’re not ready to talk about her.”
“I don’t think it’s for me to talk about Hillary Clinton,” said Webb, noting he enjoyed working with her in the Senate.
