June Shannon, mother of the TLC reality star Honey Boo Boo, was on Monday’s episode of “Dr. Phil” in an attempt to clear her name over her relationship with convicted sex offender Mark McDaniel, who molested her daughter Anna when she was eight. But rather than clear her name, she basically evaded Dr. Phil’s direct questions while spouting off some incoherent statements.
The 35-year-old mother, who gave birth to her oldest daughter Anna when she was 14, repeatedly denied that she was dating McDaniel, and that lately, the two have only met “by coincidence.”
“There’s some truths and there’s some lies that’s out there, and there’s the truth between that,” Shannon said.

Shannon, who admitted she lost her virginity when she was 12 years old, said the photo of her, McDaniel, and Honey Boo Boo in a hotel bed together is photoshopped.
“We have a thing showing that that picture right there has been Photoshopped by a company. There is an email I have that that picture, it proves it has been photoshopped. He did tell me that I needed to try to get it from TMZ but I tried to do that and TMZ refused to give it to me because it was sold to them and now it is property of theirs.”
She also claims that while she was dating McDaniel and he was molesting her daughter, she didn’t know because she worked the night shift at McDonald’s.
“We were sitting there eating, they’re busting down the door like a drug bust… I don’t get any information… I’m like ‘what the hell is going on…’ He gets locked up. I even call the jail, the jail won’t tell me anything. I did not know for a couple months what he was actually locked up for.”
And in another bullshit answer, Shannon said she doesn’t think TLC canceled “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” just because she’s dating a sex offender.
“I think this has something to do with it, but I don’t think it was the full decision of why.”
Even Dr. Phil told TMZ he thinks she has been making bad choices “for a long, long time.”
