James Bond gets a new ride to thrash for every film, but it isn’t usually custom-designed by the film’s producers and built by Britain’s most iconic luxury auto manufacturer.
“Skyfall” director Sam Mendes on Thursday announced a swath of new details about “Spectre” — the 24th Bond film set for release Nov. 6, 2015 — including the return of Bond’s core cast compatriots from “Skyfall” and his signature Aston Martin, but with a Hollywood-exclusive upgrade.
Instead of a standard model featuring some on-screen weaponized Q-customization, Bond is getting his very own model — the Aston Martin DB10 — designed in conjunction with “Spectre” producers exclusively for the film.

“You will see what it can do when you come and see the movie,” Mendes promised as he uncovered the spy’s new wheels, “built for Bond.”

“The DB10 gives a glimpse to the future design direction for the next generation of Aston Martins,” the company said in a press release Thursday according to The Verge, adding that there will only be 10 units produced to a certain specification.
