The Charlotte Hornets hosted the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night.

San Antonio led for the entire game, driving a thoroughly outmatched Charlotte squad to desperate means, as evidenced by Charlotte rookie P.J. Hairston’s deplorable attempt to draw a foul on Tony Parker in the 4th-quarter.

C’mon man.

I’ve talked about how flopping is destroying America, and I’m glad that this underhanded move not only didn’t draw the foul, but it backfired on Hairston big time. (RELATED: This Egregious, Triple-Flop Is A Low Point In American History)

1) He looked like an idiot.

2) As soon as he hit the deck, the Spurs knocked down a 3-ball.

3) Since this is his second offense of the season, he’s about to get slapped with a $5,000 fine.

Maybe there’s hope for the NBA after all.
