Further reports have surfaced that doctors are telling Bobby Brown to withdraw life support from his and Whitney Houston’s only child, Bobby Kristina, who was found face down and unresponsive in her bathtub last Saturday.

A family sourced told TMZ, who noted that Thursday is Bobby’s birthday, that the decision is his alone, and he is waiting until after the weekend to decide. (RELATED: Bobby Brown Speaks Out About Daughter’s Condition)

Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically induced coma since Saturday, first at North Fulton Hospital in Atlanta and was later moved to Emory University Hospital where she remained on life support.

She has low brain function, and Wednesday a family source said doctors told them “it was only a matter of time.” She was reportedly without oxygen to her brain for five to eight minutes before she was found. (RELATED: Bobbi Kristina Dying, Doctors Say)

“It’s now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she’s pretty much not going to make it.”

Brown asked for privacy for the family earlier in the week, and Thursday reports announced that his wife is four months pregnant with the couple’s second child. (RELATED: Bobby Brown’s Wife Announces Pregnancy Amid Daughter’s Hospitalization)

However, the Brown family has refuted a story by People claiming they were gathering to say their final goodbyes, and only added that Bobbi Kristina was “fighting for her life.”
