Bobby Brown issued a statement about his and Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina after the 21-year-old was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub early Saturday morning.
“Privacy is requested in this matter,” Brown said.
“Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time.”
Bobbi Kristina was found at her Atlanta home this weekend by her husband Nick Gordon and a friend, and reports have conflicted on her condition. Some allege she is on a ventilator with “diminished brain function,” while others claim she is in stable condition.
A lawyer for the family added to Brown’s statement and said, “The report that Bobbi Kristina Brown has been taken to the hospital in Atlanta, Georgia is accurate. No additional information will be forthcoming.”
The couple’s only child is reportedly in North Fulton Hospital, which is about 30 miles outside of Atlanta.
The circumstances surrounding her hospitalization are strangely similar to her mother’s death three years ago. Whitney Houston accidentally drowned in a tub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. (RELATED: Bobby Brown’s Daughter Found Unconscious In Tub)
