The Oklahoma City Thunder traveled to Denver on Monday for a Western Conference match-up with the Nuggets.
Forty points from reigning MVP Kevin Durant coupled with 26 from Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook proved too much for Denver, falling to OKC by a final score of 124-114.
The Nuggets rallied to close a huge, first-quarter deficit, but unforced errors eventually stopped the comeback.
