Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was talking with a reporter after the Warriors 106-98 win over their rival Los Angeles Clippers Sunday night when Clippers guard Dahntay Jones bumped into him.
Green kept his cool during the interview, but he gave Jones quite the stare-down. Something tells me that had this not been broadcast live on ABC, something would have gone down.
A few minutes later, Green ripped Jones for the bump in the locker room.
He told ESPN reporters, “I think he wanted a reaction from me, but he don’t play. Me getting suspended and him getting suspended, it’s different. … If he gets suspended they may not even notice.”
Green was referencing Jones’ role as a bench-warmer for the Clippers. Jones has averaged 4.6 minutes per game in the 2014-2015 season.
