Roger Federer played Grigor Dimitrov in an exhibition match at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.
The lefty Federer ended up losing the match, but the day’s biggest shock came from a young challenger during the middle of the third set. Even though it looks like the World’s No. 2 wasn’t playing at full speed, no one expected this kid to be able to handle the racket like such a seasoned pro.
How the mighty have fallen.
Federer hasn’t won a major in three years, and while his loss to 11th-ranked Dimitrov doesn’t come as too huge of a surprise, he clearly isn’t the same, unbeatable player he’s been in years past.
