Hillary Clinton’s staff did not even read any of her emails when they deleted more than half of the messages in Clinton’s inbox.

Clinton’s staff conducted a review of her emails in 2014 during Rep. Trey Gowdy’s investigation into the Benghazi scandal, Time reported.

But Clinton’s staffers never read the emails to figure out which ones were work-related and which were personal.

Clinton’s legal team drafted a list of “names and keywords” associated with Clinton’s official duties at the State Department. More than half of her 62,320 emails did not pop up when staffers searched for those keywords. Therefore, more than 31,830 emails were dismissed as “private, personal records”and were not turned over to congressional investigators.

Therefore, the majority of the emails that Clinton sent during her four-year tenure as Secretary of State were “personal” emails, according to the Clinton camp’s official version of events.

Rep. Gowdy is currently leading a renewed charge to obtain all of Clinton’s emails from her time at the State Department.
