SURVIVOR: Two Years After Losing Her Leg, Rebekkah Gregory Finishes 2015 Boston Marathon [VIDEO]

On Monday, Rebekkah Gregory got her life back.

The 27-year-old Texas native took part in the 2015 Boston Marathon, and though she only ran the last few miles of the race, finishing marked one of the greatest moments of her life. (RELATED: NESN’s Boston Bombings Tribute Will Make You Proud To Be An American [VIDEO])

Gregory lost her leg during the 2013 Boston Bombings, but she was left with a new sense of determination.

Earlier in the month, Rebekkah had finished a marathon in Palmanova, Italy, but crossing the finish line of Monday finally brought closure to her emotional journey. (RELATED: Boston Bombing Survivor Inspires By Finishing First Marathon Since Losing Her Leg)
