Jake Lloyd, the former child actor who played Anakin Skywalker in “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace” was arrested Sunday after he led cops on a high-speed chase.
Lloyd was driving through Charleston, South Carolina when he failed to stop for officers. He was driving over 100 mph and passing cars on double yellow lines for 25 miles on Interstate 95. Then he lost control of the car and ran off the road into a wooded area.

The 26-year-old told cops his name was Jake Broadbent at first, but his talent agent confirmed it was him.

He was charged with failure to stop, reckless driving, resisting arrest and driving without a license. His bond was set at $10,700, and he’s currently in custody.
Lloyd was 10 years old when he appeared in the 1999 prequel of the sci-fi movie. He quit acting afterwards because he said the unwanted attention made his life “a living hell.” (RELATED: John Stamos Arrested For DUI)
