With an abysmal record of 42-59, the Miami Marlins are essentially out of the 2015 playoff race.
Still, just because you’re down and out, that doesn’t mean you can’t shit on a division rival when they come to town, which is what the Marlins ATTEMPTED to do prior to their Wednesday game against the Washington Nationals.
During the Nats’ batting practice, Miami thought it would be hilarious to play a bunch of farts over the loud speakers, as opposed to the usual Top-40 playlist.
Now not only are the Marlins not playing music during Nats BP, loud fart noises are coming through the speakers. I swear, I'm not kidding.

No idea what's going on in Marlins trade world right now, but I can confirm the awful music for Nats BP is still a thing that is happening.

Matt Williams reaction to said fart noises. Thanks to @SRobby2 for digging up the sound. #Nats pic.twitter.com/MgeXlkoOWk

Unfortunately, it didn’t seem to throw Washington of its game. The Nationals would go on to win by a final of 7-2, courtesy of two MASSIVE home runs from Bryce Harper.
Like I'm supposed to be worried about the Mets when Bryce Harper is doing this pic.twitter.com/UUqKjzsHG3
