Gary Busey On Trump: ‘He Can Change The Country’

Gary Busey thinks Donald Trump would make a great president.

“I know him personally,” Busey said Monday night. “I know him professionally. He’s a great guy. He’s sharp. He’s fast. He can change the country after the last eight years.” (RELATED: Dennis Rodman Endorses Donald Trump For President)

Though he said he didn’t want to get into politics, Busey is familiar with the presidential candidate’s qualifications since he was Trump’s employee for two seasons of the “Celebrity Apprentice” in 2008 and 2011. (RELATED: ‘Apprentice’ Star Omarosa Defends Donald Trump On MSNBC)

In a sketch on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” Friday, Trump jokingly interviewed Fallon dressed as himself, and Busey’s name got brought up.

“I didn’t expect it,” Busey said. “But Jimmy is a dear friend and he said, ‘What do you think about Vice President Gary Busey?’ and Donald said, ‘No, I think he would be a Supreme Court Justice.'” (RELATED: Brande Roderick Defends Trump: I Don’t Even Remember ‘Get On Your Knees’ Comment)
