An 18-time all-star, Berra amassed an astounding 10 World Series titles in 14 appearances — both MLB records. Despite his on-field accomplishments, the Yankees’ 5’7″ hall-of-fame catcher — and World War II Navy Veteran — was equally famous for the plethora of “Yogiisms” he provided the press, like “90-percent of the game is half mental” and “when you come to a fork in the road, take it.”
