Barbra Streisand said she thinks Hillary Clinton’s campaign strategies have improved a lot over the last few months.

During an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, the 73-year-old actress said she had been following Clinton’s campaign closely.

“At first she was a bit stiff, uncomfortable,” Streisand said. “But I know her in person, and she is warm and lovely and brilliant and speaks without notes.” (VIDEO: Hillary Clinton: Kim Kardashian Is ‘Inspirational’)

“When I first saw her speak, she was using a teleprompter, which she doesn’t need. If you don’t know how to use it and make it real and add things in, it’s clumsy.”

The actress added that she doesn’t think Donald Trump has what it takes to be president.

“He’s funny,” Streisand added. “He says the same things over and over and over again. I mean, come on. Don’t you have to have a background like Hillary or Bernie Sanders has?”

“When I listen to the things he says, I think, ‘This thing can’t be happening.’ But it is happening, so I encourage women — we’re 52 percent of the population — we have to get out and vote.” (RELATED: Donald Trump Cancels On Jimmy Kimmel Last Minute)
