Ben Carson says that Muslims who are Sharia-compliant can integrate into America “only if they’re schizophrenic.”
In an interview on SiriusXM Patriot Channel 125 on Tuesday, Carson cited Teddy Roosevelt suggesting, “You’re welcome to come here, from any place, and any religion, as long as you’re accept our ways and want to be American. If you don’t, stay where you are.”
Carson also argued that because of political correctness in America, it is easter for ISIS to commit “civilizational jihad” in America because Americans would be distracted and “we would be so busy trying to protect their rights that we wouldn’t be watching our own.”
Later, Carson said, “When I say things like that, people say ‘Oh you’re Islamophobic.’ No, it’s not Islamophobic at all… But there’s a difference between Muslims who accept America and accept our Constitution and accept our ways and those who want to continue a different method of living. And if we’re not sophisticated enough to understand that we will lose that war.”
Carson said “civilizational jihad” is when extremist Muslims disguise themselves “moderate Muslims” in order to take America “down from within” by replacing our basic Judeo-Christian values with Islam.
The famed neurosurgeon said that that Sharia-compliant Muslims can integrate into America, “Only if they’re schizophrenic.”
“I don’t see how they can do it otherwise, because they have two different philosophies boring at you [which are in contradiction of each other]. So no, that would be very difficult,” Carson claimed.
