Lewis Black wants Bernie Sanders to be president because he’s a socialist.

During his time on “The View” Monday morning, the 67-year-old comedian revealed why he’s supporting the Democratic front-runner.
“Of course I like Bernie,” Black said. “Why do I like Bernie? Because I’m a socialist. Don’t applaud that. They’ll think it’s a movement.” (RELATED: Morgan Freeman Narrates New Ad For Hillary Clinton)
“I’ve been a socialist since I was 14 because I lived in D.C. because the Republicans and the Democrats — I worked on different campaigns. I didn’t like either side.”

“For those of you who are panicked about socialism, there are 12 in the country, so there’s nothing to worry about,” Black continued.
