Hillary Clinton spoke Spanish during the Univision Democratic Debate Wednesday night in Miami.

“I was the first one to call him out, I called him out when he called Mexicans rapists, said Hillary in response to a question about whether she thought Donald Trump was a racist.

She continued on to say, “When he was engaging that was rhetoric that I found deeply offensive, I said, ‘basta!'”

Basta is Spanish for stop.

The moderator pushed Clinton saying she didn’t directly answer the question about Trump’s character. Hillary responded, “I think it’s un-American. I think what he has promoted is not at all in keeping with American values.”

Adding, “I will every opportunity to criticize him, and raise those issues.”

On Twitter the Clinton campaign didn’t shy away from Hillary’s use of Spanish during the debate.

This wasn’t the first time Hillary spoke in a foreign language to attract voters. She used the phrase “basta” back in July 2015 also regarding Trump’s rhetoric. (RELATED:’MA Lips Ah Sealed!’ Hillary Uses Black Accent In Chat With Sharpton)
