Utah Gov. Gary Herbert has endorsed Sen. [crscore]Ted Cruz[/crscore] for president on Monday ahead of the state’s Tuesday caucuses.
According to Fox13 Salt lake City, Herbert confirmed his endorsement while signing a bill, H.R. 27, which adds an “In God We Trust” license plate to the quiver of standard license plates. (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: Mitt Romney Records Robocalls For Ted Cruz [AUDIO])

According to a recent poll in Utah, Cruz has 53 percent compared to Ohio Gov. John Kasich who has 29 percent, and Donald Trump who has 11 percent. (RELATED: New Poll Shows Cruz With Big Lead In Utah)
Herbert isn’t the only elected official in Utah to endorse Cruz. Lt. Gov. Spencer Cox and Sen. [crscore]Mike Lee[/crscore] have endorsed Cruz as well.
