Geoff Earle, the longtime Washington Bureau Chief of the New York Post, is joining the Daily Mail.
He held the position for 11 years.
Earle has made the rounds at a variety of Washington pubs including The Hill, National Journal and Congressional Quarterly.
In a letter to friends and “leaky sources,” he wrote:
“After a long and exciting run at the Post, I’ve accepted a position as deputy US political editor at MailOnline, the wildly popular US site of Britain’s Daily Mail. I’ll be covering campaigns through the elections. I’ll still be based in DC but will be spending plenty of time on the road.”
