The rapper known as The Game is defending Kesha because he said her label Sony has “a slave mentality.”

“Let her off the label man,” the rapper  — whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor — said to TMZ as he was leaving a restaurant Monday. “I don’t understand music and the slave mentality.”

He added he didn’t think the contract was worth the paper it’s written on.

Kesha had filed a lawsuit against the music company and producer Dr. Luke after she claimed he tried to rape her. A New York judge later ruled against Kesha and said Sony would only need to provide her with a different producer.
