At a Sunday press conference addressing a rash of execution-style murders in rural Ohio, Pike County Sheriff Charles Reader encouraged people to arm themselves.
According to CNS News, Reader told the group of gathered reporters that “if you are fearful, arm yourself.” (RELATED: Manhunt Begins After Eight People Murdered In Rural Ohio)
“If you feel that you need to protect yourself or family, do so,” he added. “And contact the local law enforcement to come and respond to it.”
