The 2016 Scripps National Spelling Bee featured power moves usually only seen on a football field or NBA court.
Nihar Janga and Jairam Hathwar were co-champions, but the highlight of the night was Janga’s cold-blooded reaction when Hathwar spelled a word incorrectly.
He ruthlessly shook his head and then got into his opponent’s face.

Nihar is the type of competitor every spelling been needs in order to make it more interesting. That was a brutal way of kicking Hathwar when he was down.
