Johnny Manziel’s former teammate with the Cleveland Browns Karlos Dansby said he would have killed himself if he’d been under the same pressure as Manziel.

“I probably would have committed suicide. Ain’t no telling what would have took place. I couldn’t handle none of it. Nobody in that building could handle any of that pressure that man was under,” Dansby said while speaking with Jim Rome. (PHOTOS: Check Out The Model Manziel Scooped Up During Unemployment)

Dansby, who is now with the Cincinnati Bengals, also told Rome, “You can only put so much on you that only you can handle. [God’s] not going to give you more than you handle, so he can handle it, I couldn’t handle it, and I told him that to his face. I couldn’t handle what you’re going through right now, I can’t. I can’t live that for you.” (SLIDESHOW: This Gorgeous Olympian Loves To Show Off Lots Of Skin)

Training camps have begun for NFL teams and Manziel isn’t on a roster. At this time it very much remains unclear if he’ll ever play football again.
