Demi Lovato Sends Message To Victims Following Orlando Terror Attack

Demi Lovato send words of encouragement and support to the victims, family members and LGBTQ community following the terror attack.

On Tuesday, the 23-year-old pop singer posted several message on her Twitter account following the Sunday terror attack at a gay nightclub in Orlando that left 49 people dead and more than 50 injured. (RELATED: Dolly Parton: ‘We Should Just Love One Another A Little More’)

“There are no words for how upset I’ve been since Orlando,” she tweeted. “I cry for the victims, ache for the families, and have immense admiration for the LGBTQ community and their resolve in absorbing this horror and uniting with strength and fearlessness. Stay strong. We stand with you.”

 

A short time later Lovato posted a poem that addressed not just the shooting in Orlando but the others that came before. (RELATED: Lady Gaga Breaks Down During Heartfelt Tribute To Orlando [VIDEO])

“We hurt,” she tweeted. “We mourn. We argue.”

“We settle,” she added. “We need to stop the cycle.”
