A new group announced it will send nude selfies to any voter who does not vote for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Tramps Against Trump sends voters naked selfies if they do not vote for him, reports Salon. While the group does not endorse a candidate, it’s determined to prevent Trump from getting elected.
“Our main objective of the campaign is to get millennials who otherwise might not engage in the election to show up and vote. Tramps Against Trump does not endorse any presidential candidate — we simply are advocating for anyone but Trump,” Jessica Rabbit, the group’s spokeswoman, told Mashable.
To get a selfie, voters must show proof they voted against Trump by taking a selfie with a copy of their voter receipt. The policy presents a slight problem because most states arrest voters for using their cell phones while in the voting booth.
Rabbit told Mashable in addition to fighting against Trump, the group wants to open a dialogue on race and gender.
“We plan on using this platform to discuss issues that directly relate to sex, race, gender and body politics in this election cycle…We are trying to use some of the things Trump hates the most against him,” Rabbit said.
The day after the Orlando terror attack that left 50 dead, including the shooter, and 53 injured, the group posted a message on Twitter blaming “homophobia” for the Orlando shooting. It appealed to its “straight allies,” saying “Donald Trump’s homophobic hate speech, his anti-Latino hate speech, his anti-Muslim hate speech, words that he callously throws around for votes, are as violent as any gun.”
The group’s join page invites anyone over 18 of all “races, genders and bodies” to send their nude, but censored, selfie to contribute to the cause.
“We are especially excited about all the women and sex workers who have been so generously donating their amazing nudes. Without them we would be nothing,” Rabbit told Mashable.
Rabbit, a prostitute, says this election is crucial for other prostitutes like herself.
“Whoever becomes president will have a direct effect on what we can and can’t do with our bodies, and how the law will move forward relating to us. For sex workers, this is a really important election,” Rabbit told Motherboard.
