Trump: If I’m Being Anti-Semitic, Why Isn’t ‘Frozen’?

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump dragged “Frozen” into the debate over his controversial Star of David tweet about Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

The original tweet featured a proud looking Clinton next to a star that reads “Most Corrupt Candidate Ever,” which some contend was an explicit reference to a Star of David. Some reports claim they traced the image’s origin to an anti-Semitic and white supremacist message board.

Clinton was not pleased, and her campaign team expressed that “Donald Trump’s use of a blatantly anti-Semitic image from racist websites to promote his campaign would be disturbing enough, but the fact that it’s part of a pattern should give voters major cause for concern.”

Trump lashed back with a statement made through Facebook. “These false attacks by Hillary Clinton trying to link the Star of David with a basic star, often used by sheriffs … is ridiculous,” the post reads. “Clinton, through her surrogates, is just trying to divert attention from the dishonest behavior of herself and her husband.”

Clinton tweeted back with a play on the song “Do You Want to Build a Snowman.”
