Celebrities like Chris Pratt, The Rock and Chris Evans pledged to take the #22Pushup challenge in honor of veterans.
Pratt was the first in Hollywood to take the challenge that was posted by a U.K charity called Combat Stress that raises awareness and money for mental health initiatives to help veterans after they return home. (RELATED: Chris Pratt Has Caught Olympics Fever [VIDEO])
The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor shared a video on his Instagram account of he and his wife Anna Faris doing push-ups.
“Everyday 22 veterans take their own lives,” Pratt wrote. “Please know there are people out there thinking about you, praying for you and who appreciate your sacrifice. If you are thinking of harming yourself call 1-800-273-8255.”
Pratt called out his friends in Hollywood to take up the challenge. Many responded and shared on their Instagram and Twitter accounts their support for veterans.
