Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump weighed in Monday on the announced separation between Hillary Clinton’s close aide, Huma Abedin, and her husband, former New York Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner, after he was caught sexting again.

“Huma is making a very wise decision,” Trump said in a statement released by the campaign.

Abedin on Monday broke it off with Weiner after the New York Post reported Sunday another instance of Weiner sexting with a woman who wasn’t his wife. He resigned from Congress in 2011 after being caught in a similar circumstance.

“I know Anthony Weiner well,” Trump continued in his statement, “and she will be far better off without him.”

Trump expressed concern over Weiner’s proximity to classified information through his marriage to Abedin.

“I only worry for the country in that Hillary Clinton was careless and negligent in allowing Weiner to have such close proximity to highly classified information. Who knows what he learned and who he told? It’s just another example of Hillary Clinton’s bad judgment. It is possible that our country and its security have been greatly compromised by this.”

Abedin released a statement Monday announcing the separation. “After long and painful consideration and work on my marriage, I have made the decision to separate from my husband,” she said. “Anthony and I remain devoted to doing what is best for our son, who is the light of our life.”
